Combine axes individually: The simple way to create cross tables and multi-axis systems
Offenburg – Two or more axes can now be combined quickly and easily with HIWIN adapters to form cross tables and multi-axis systems.
Simply call up the HIWIN online CAD configurator, select the axes to be linked and the adapter you need will be suggested to you. Once you have placed your order, the connectors are supplied in standard complete sets including fasteners, ensuring any logistics and construction work is kept to a minimum.
With the aid of the adapters, HIWIN HM linear modules and HT linear tables can be combined with the toothed belt (HM-B/HT-B), ballscrew (HM-S/HT-S) or linear motor (HT-L) drive types as well as the compact positioning axes from the KK series to form customised axis systems.
The adapters are designed to produce a form-fit and force-fit connection, ensuring that forces and torques are transmitted reliably at all times. Centring sleeves allow for precise and reproducible mounting processes.
Three adapter designs ensure maximum freedom of design. Using the adapters, one axis can be mounted on the carriage of another axis – either aligned in the same direction (CPN) or rotated by 90° (CPR). The third design variant (CCN) enables two axes to be combined using a carriage-on-carriage connection.
